What do I offer?
The following points outline the collaboration, cooperation, services, assignments, bookings and projects that documentary filmmaker and academic Lenka Ovčáčková offers and can facilitate:
- Creating or collaborating in the production of holistic and interdisciplinary documentary films with overlaps in history, philosophy, natural sciences, ecological ethics, religious studies, psychology, archaeology, and art.
- Commented presentations of my own documentary films, which focus on the Czech-Austrian and Czech-German history of the border regions and offer a profound, multi-layered and conciliatory reflection on the expulsion of the German-speaking population from Bohemia and Moravia.
- Popular science and academic lectures on the history of philosophy, the natural sciences, and ecological ethics, with a focus on the Renaissance, the Enlightenment, Naturphilosophie, and the cusp of the 19th and 20th centuries.
- Collaboration in the organisation of cultural, scientific and popular science events and workshops that adopt a holistic and interdisciplinary approach.
- Professional collaboration on European, interdisciplinary, scientific and documentary film projects with a focus on Czechia, Germany and Austria.
