The academic engagement with the various subfields of science presented below has always flowed and continues to flow into Lenka Ovčáčková’s documentary filmmaking work.

»…all living things are naturally existing, so constituted that their reality is based on self-display. Therefore, living form has no parts that can be rearranged and is not composed of anything that could be moved. Its reality consists in appearance. Form does not consist in filling space! It spatialises itself—forms a space of open visibility. Just as it uniquely manifests itself, so too does it transform itself “all at once”—designing the unified whole of its outward appearance.«
